XVL Studio Basic by Lattice Technology is an entry-level 3D visualization and authoring tool for working with lightweight XVL models derived from CAD data. It enables users to open and navigate very large assemblies on standard Windows PCs, explore product structure, turn components on and off, create cross-sections, take basic measurements, and add markups and annotations. You can also build simple exploded views and animations, then capture and organize view sets to support work instructions, technical documentation, training, and service materials.
Designed for downstream teams—such as manufacturing, quality, technical publications, and customer support—XVL Studio Basic delivers accurate, highly compressed 3D without requiring access to the original CAD system. It works with XVL files generated from most major CAD formats via Lattice Technology’s converters, making it easy to share and reuse 3D across the enterprise.
